A new breed of “super rat” with DNA that makes them resistant to poison and subsequently almost impossible to kill are evolving in the British corners, experts have warned. According to Professor Robert Smith at the University of Huddersfield, genetic mutations have led rats across the country to develop protection against standard toxins. If such rats or "super rats" as they are being called are not stopped from multiplying then there is a risk of another bubonic plague just like the one that caused The Black Death in Europe in 1340s.
